Well I guess three times is not a charm for South County United. After two years of placing in the "Best of DC" round, we did not make the cut this year. I knew we should have steered clear of the naked guys this year, hehe. Congrats to all the teams who made the cut. I'm hoping to attend the screening to see the winning films.

48hfp DC 2011: Best of DC Round

We got an email today from Mark Ruppert. The Audience Award winners from each screening group will be announced today or tomorrow.

The "Best of DC" films will be announced later this week. The "Best of DC" screenings are next Thursday, May 26th at 7pm and 9:30pm.

I will post the announcements here once they arrive.

DC Traffic

I'm so glad the U.S. didn't announce that Osama bin Laden was dead until later tonight. I had to go right past the White House tonight coming from Silver Spring (to drop our wonderful, terrific, fantastic Editor Erica at home) to get to the 48hfp drop-off event. The crowds gathering outside of the White House may have caused a problem for me.
